Abrasive robotic waterjet cutting workstation consists of the following parts:

1. Waterjet intensifier pump

It is mainly used to pressurize normalized water to 350-600Mpa and stabilize its water pressure.

2. Cooling system

It is mainly used to cool the huge heat generated by mechanical movement, which is mainly reflected in the reciprocating motion of the piston in the supercharger and the operation of the pump.

3.Filtration system

Filter impurities in piston pump oil and filter impurities in equipment water to prevent damage to equipment or wearing parts caused by impurities.

4. Abrasive System

Mainly abrasive tank, containing garnet abrasive or emery, etc.

5.Control system

Robot teaching pendant, control cabinet, Weihong software control system also includes some electrical components, etc.

6. Enclosed workstation

Isolate noise and water splash, making cutting safer

7. Robotic arm

The main part is equipped with high-pressure coils, cutter heads, high-pressure water hoses and other water jet parts.

In addition to being used for cutting helmets, the Abrasive robot waterjet cutting system can also be used in many industries. The following is an introduction to the Abrasive robot waterjet cutting system.

Introduction of Abrasive robot waterjet cutting system

The Abrasive Robot Waterjet Cutting System is an advanced and versatile technology used for precision cutting in various industrial applications. It combines the capabilities of a robot arm and a high-pressure waterjet with an abrasive material to cut through a wide range of materials effectively.

The system consists of a robotic arm equipped with a cutting tool, typically a waterjet nozzle, and an abrasive delivery system. The robotic arm is programmed to follow precise cutting paths, allowing for complex and intricate cuts with high accuracy. The waterjet nozzle emits a focused stream of high-pressure water mixed with abrasive particles, which erode the material being cut.

The abrasive material used in the process, typically garnet or aluminum oxide, significantly enhances the cutting power of the waterjet. When accelerated by the high-pressure water, the abrasive particles create a cutting action that can effectively slice through materials ranging from metals and composites to stone, glass, and ceramics.

One of the significant advantages of the Abrasive Robot Waterjet Cutting System is its ability to cut through materials without generating heat, minimizing the risk of thermal distortion or damage to the material. Additionally, the precise control offered by the robotic arm allows for intricate cuts and shapes that would be challenging to achieve with traditional cutting methods.

The system is widely used in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, architecture, and construction. It is commonly employed for tasks such as cutting complex shapes in metal parts, trimming and shaping composite materials, and creating precise openings in stone or glass surfaces.

In summary, the Abrasive Robot Waterjet Cutting System is a highly efficient and versatile technology that combines the cutting power of high-pressure waterjets with abrasive materials. Its precision and flexibility make it an ideal solution for a wide range of cutting applications, providing accuracy and efficiency in industrial settings.
